Magnificient anthropomorphic vessel. The figure is wearing clothes with arms and legs naked. His arms are on the chest in order to squeeze a bond (necklace or rope ?) around his neck. He must be sat. His head tapers to a conical shape resembling a type of hat. His face is very interesting with big eyes surrounded by a delicate black make-up. The great originality is in his face's expression: he 's whistling ! This type of ceramic is probably a funerary gift.
Provenance: ex. private french collection
