Composed of 42 individual rectangular panels, each woven in camelid wool, sewn together in a discontinuous scaffold technique. Bears six panels by seven of patchwork design with open diamond shapes on red, blue and green. A few tatters, holes and some staining, as is normal. Professionally backed on gray cotton cloth, ready to be stretched and hung.
Provenance: Old private NYC collection. Collected over 30 years ago.
