Dimensions : 8-1/4'' H, 2-1/2'' W

Very beautiful Mezcala stone standing figure. Prominent torso with carved arms. Its face was formed by two similar facets, with carved mouth, eyes, ears. The surface has been finely polished, except for the top of the head which was always left rough for ritual purposes.
Provenance: private french collection.
