Discoid pottery flask form, in tan with identical mold-made reliefs on both sides. Seated on the left is God K facing God L on the right, separated by a glyph column. God K having an elongated snout, is one of the smoking gods. From a tube above his forehead emerge two smoke scrolls. He is a major deity, personifying royal power and the protector of royal lineages. God L is one of the two principal gods of the underworld (the other is God N); he is an old god with a sunken, toothless mouth and a wide-brimmed hat. On the narrow sides are columns with glyphs. Two minor rim chips, else intact and a nice example.
Provenance: ex. collection of Dr. J. Winnie, Georgia, USA
