Beautiful Chimu stirrup spout vessel. Typical black ceramic of Chimu culture. The paunch represent an animal' body with head in relief. This animal is probably a feline (jaguar?) : rolled up tail, whiskers fangs, paws in relief…Other feature of Chimù ceramic: addition of an little animal in relief on the handle.
