Very beautiful stirrup spout vessel. On the body, there's a jaguar's head in relief. The artisan has made circular incisions in. The felin's head with obvious fangs is characteristic of Chavin ceramic. The jaguar is a ritual image, associated with warriors and politic power. The jaguar's representation is very realistic.
